Norwegian Cruise Line has announced that its newest vessel, the Norwegian Serenity, will operate as the company's first adults-only ship. The 3,200-passenger vessel will sail exclusively Mediterranean itineraries from May through October, homeporting in Barcelona with stops in Santorini, Dubrovnik, Amalfi, and Monte Carlo.

The ship features 18 dining venues, a thermal spa spanning two decks, infinity pools with ocean views, and a curated entertainment program focused on live jazz, comedy shows, and wine-tasting experiences. Cabin prices start at $1,899 per person for seven-night voyages.

The move targets the rapidly growing market of child-free travelers and couples seeking a more refined cruise experience. Virgin Voyages has found success with this model, and Norwegian's entry signals broader industry recognition of the demand.
