Royal Caribbean International has unveiled Star of the Seas, the second vessel in its Icon class and the sister ship to the world's largest cruise ship, Icon of the Seas. The 250,800 gross ton vessel will debut in December 2026 sailing seven-night Caribbean itineraries from Port Canaveral, Florida.

The ship introduces Adventure Island, a new open-air entertainment area featuring a surf simulator, rock climbing walls, a zip line spanning 500 feet, and an aqua park with six water slides. Star of the Seas will also feature 20 decks, 2,850 staterooms, 40 restaurants and bars, and the cruise industry's first onboard go-kart track over open water.

Pricing for inaugural sailings starts at $1,200 per person for interior staterooms and $3,800 per person for suites. Royal Caribbean reports that initial booking demand has exceeded the launch performance of Icon of the Seas, which itself set records as the fastest-selling ship in the company's history.
