Marriott International has officially opened the Marriott Cancun All-Inclusive Resort, the largest property in the company's growing all-inclusive portfolio. The 1,200-room beachfront resort spans 45 acres along the Hotel Zone and features 12 restaurants, six pools, a 30,000-square-foot spa, and direct beach access on the Caribbean Sea.

The resort targets the premium all-inclusive market with nightly rates starting at $450 per person that cover all meals, beverages, entertainment, and non-motorized water sports. Marriott Bonvoy members can earn and redeem points at the property, a significant differentiator from independent all-inclusive brands.

The opening reflects the rapid growth of the branded all-inclusive segment, which has increased 32 percent over the past three years according to STR Global. Marriott now operates 18 all-inclusive properties across the Caribbean and Mexico, with five additional resorts under development in Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, and Costa Rica.
