Royal Caribbean International has unveiled plans for Star of the Seas, which will claim the title of the world's largest cruise ship when it debuts in March 2027. The vessel will accommodate 7,600 passengers and feature 20 decks of entertainment, dining, and recreation.
Standout features include a full-size roller coaster, an open-air amphitheater with retractable roof, and a neighborhood called The Grove featuring 30 restaurants and bars organized around a central park with over 3,000 live plants and trees.
Maiden voyages will depart from Port Canaveral, Florida, with seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries. Booking opens June 1, with loyalty members receiving priority access and onboard credit incentives.
