Southwest Airlines has officially entered the transatlantic market, announcing nonstop service from 6 US cities to 12 European destinations starting October 2026.

Budget Transatlantic Travel

Introductory one-way fares start at $199, dramatically undercutting legacy carrier pricing. Southwest will use its new Boeing 737 MAX 10 aircraft configured for long-haul comfort.

Routes include Baltimore to London, Dallas to Barcelona, and Denver to Dublin among others.

Game Changer

Industry analysts predict Southwest's entry will force competitors to lower transatlantic fares by 15-20% industry-wide.
